Bartlett Pear Wine and Walnut Handmade Soap Bar - Lake County - Our New Lake County Inspired Soap Bar

Our New Lake County inspired handmade soap smells of Bartlett pears and is made with Olive oil, ground walnut shell and of course Lake County Wine. Growing up in Lake County I still remember as a kid visiting the Pear orchards and filling up the back of the truck with pears and than eating them until we thought we would explode. I also remember picking up walnuts as we had many walnut trees in Lake County. Now Lake County is starting to be known for all its wine so we had to add some local wine to this soap. All our handmade soap is made in small batches right in our store and they are olive oil based, we then add our blend of skin loving coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter to the mix creating a handmade soap that has a nice lather but rinces off clean and leaves your skin feeling refreshed.

Plant the labels?

Yes our handmade soap bar labels are made of seeded paper so you can actually plant them and grow random wild flowers and herbs.  Its easy to do just place soil in a  pot, right to the top. Gently pack the soil, so it's slightly compressed, but not too hard-packed. Place the seed paper on top, and add another thin layer of soil on top of the paper (about one-eighth of an inch). Give your newly planted seed paper a good soak of water right off the bat. After that, just make sure it's always moist. This may mean watering it a little bit every day or two, but just enough to maintain that level of moisture. Just make sure your planted seed paper is in a sunny area, and you should hopefully start seeing some little green sprouts pop up within a few weeks!
